Sales Director - American Fashion

Bloglovin’ partners with many of the world’s most respected brands on native advertising and influencer marketing campaigns, including Burberry, Campbell’s, Gucci, H&M, NARS, Post Foods, and Tom’s of Maine. Brand and agency partners come to Bloglovin’ to identify the right influencers for their brand, create scalable custom content campaigns across influencers’ blogs and social channels, and manage and measure these campaigns every step of the way.

 

Job Description:

Bloglovin’ is looking for a smart, creative and experienced Sales Director that is well connected on the American Fashion digital community. This individual will play an integral role with the Advertising Sales team as we continue to build out this core category. The successful candidate must prove to be creative, tenacious, well organized and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment. S/he will be responsible for maintaining existing and cultivating new relationships within agencies and directly with companies.

NY Based:  Reports to President in New York, NY

 

Responsibilities:

  • Open doors and build relationships with agency’s planning and buying groups, brand direct and public relation agencies
  • Handle all aspects from RFP through IO
  • Generate RFP requests, work with Pre-Sales Team to develop proposals, negotiate deal, service account with the assistance of post sales manager
  • Communicate the sales proposition to agencies and clients directly
  • Use knowledge of brand objectives and strategies to concept and sell strategic partnership programs including native, emails, sponsorship, app, and custom solutions for clients
  • Generate revenue and hit target goals



Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years direct digital sales experience and/or relevant sales/agency experience.
  • Strong working relationships with major agencies and brand direct, within the American Fashion Category.
  • Experience bundling different types of advertising products
  • An understanding of Influencer Marketing and how to sell is a PLUS
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and sell strategically
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Understanding of data driven solutions
  • Track record of achievement
  • Bachelors degree required
