Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, strategic and result-driven senior sales professional to join Bloglovin’ in our NYC headquarters. You will be driving the growth of our business across our Activate influencer marketing platform from both a managed service and self-service/ SaaS standpoint. Your focus will be on selling to your own portfolio of media advertising agencies and client direct contacts, as well as specialist Marketing/ PR/ Social Media Agencies. You will be tasked with selling consultatively to help clients navigate this multi-dimensional and confusing marketplace, and building long-term relationships with the world’s leading brands. 

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify, create traction and meet with prospective agencies and brands to understand and respond to their needs
  • Provide consultative understanding and insight into client’s objectives and needs. Identify and position Bloglovin’ product offering as a viable solution where relevant
  • Kickstart, lead and close significant sales deals
  • Establish and grow deep, long-term relationships with brands and agencies, positioning Bloglovin’ as the influencer marketing platform partner for a wide range of clients
  • Liaise with the pre-sales and post-sales teams, client marketing, campaign management and account management professionals, responsible for ideating, pitching and managing influencer marketing campaigns end-to-end, with a high degree of customization and creative input

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 – 5 Years of proven sales experience in a digital environment
  • Experience in consultative sales
  • Understanding of key social media channels
  • Experience ideating and spearheading long-term, complex and custom programs for high-profile clients
  • Understanding of custom/native content value in the marketing and promotional mix
  • Experience with influencer marketing a strong plus
  • Experience with SaaS sales a strong plus
