Sales Director – Retail and Shopper Marketing

Brand and agency partners come to Bloglovin’ to identify the right influencers for their brand, create scalable custom content campaigns across influencers’ blogs and social channels, and manage and measure these campaigns every step of the way.

Job Description

We are seeking a result-driven Sales Director, possessing experience and a proven sales track record selling to brand shopper marketing teams, retailers, and shopper agencies as well as a strong proficiency in the social media marketing space. The primary responsibility of the Sales Director is to drive revenue and increase market penetration in the Shopper Marketing space. We're looking for a professional with deep industry expertise, proven sales ability, and a broad base of industry contacts. You are a talented and passionate sales individual who anticipates how decisions are made and persistently uncovers new business opportunities. You are excited to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a close-knit team and build deep partnerships with current and prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline and close sales cycles
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment, generating new business.
  • Make in-person visits and online presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and determining their potential.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals for current and prospective customers.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new launches, etc.
  • Coordinate sales with account management, accounting and technical service groups.

 

Skills And Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant experience selling into shopper marketing teams.
  • Established relationships within the Shopper Marketing Agencies & Retailer ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of traditional as well as online marketing tactics and strategies used to target shoppers.
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Must possess a positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite of applications and Salesforce.
